In this course, you'll discover how to stop repeating the same old, painful stories in your life.
You'll learn how the stories that you tell yourself become the blueprint of your life. This can be positive or negative, depending on the types of stories you tell yourself.
First, you'll get a background on how your stories are coping mechanisms that you use to make sense of the world and what happens to you in life. Your stories tell you who you are based on those events. Then those stories get stored in your subconscious mind, affecting your current behavior as well as your future expectations and experiences.
Then, you'll learn about how your perceptions of the past are either coming from the disempowered victim or the empowered survivor (and eventually the self-actualized thriver). Your perceptions determine your expectations of the present and future, which then determines the results you have in life. This is why it’s so important to rewrite your story. Otherwise you’ll keep repeating the old stories.
You'll learn about the 4 different kinds of stories that we tell ourselves. You'll have the opportunity to revisit a childhood story, unpack it more and notice how it's still affecting you nowadays. You'll also get to identify a disempowering story that's currently blocking you from creating the life you want.
Finally, you'll get to rewrite your story so it aligns with the life you want to be living.
